Dripex 69" Free Standing Heavy Duty Boxing Punch Bag with Suction Cup Base

I have been using this product for a few weeks now. It’s quality is superb, especially for the small price in comparison to other competitors. I’ve been using it outside, and have used a heavy duty bin bag to protect the leather of the punching bag- which I’m sure is weather proof anyways. The customer service is brilliant, I had a small issue with the product when I first received it, however customer service have sorted out the minor problem both efficiently and politely. A perfect addition to any outdoor gym- would defiantly recommend! ————— UPDATE: ————— It’s been a year since I’ve owned this and I’ve been using it about 4-5 times a week on average. It has withstood thousands of punches and is still standing. Yes, the condition of the bag is rough, and it’s pretty much falling apart, but I want to share with you some really key tips on how to avoid this! - Cover the Punch bag with a heavy duty bin bag when not in use! This will protect it from rain and prolonged the leather of the punchbag. - fill up the base with Play sand and NOT builders sand. This will prevent yellow tinted leaks onto your patio. Also, don’t fill it with both sand and water, as this will become a mess overtime, chose either or. - if using in the garden, don’t attach the suction cups to the base. When being punched around, the suction cups will pierce the plastic base and cause leakage, especially if water is in the base. Only use on wooden/tile flooring! - make sure to fill up the whole base, sand is heavier (so I would recommend using this instead). This will prevent the punch bag from falling over and, overtime, damaging the leather and freestanding ability. ——- Don’t get me wrong, I still stick by my initial review one year ago, just thought I would share these key points! As a former boxer I can attest that this punch bag is very good quality for the price. I've tried various of these and found they can be very poor quality, made from flimsy materials and easy to damage or knock over. Obviously the most basic requirement of such a bag is to be able to withstand a serious pounding so flimsy material and a light weight are no good at all. This bag however is made from good material sturdily constructed. It will certainly give the novice of any weight good service for at least a couple of years and is robust enough to withstand many workouts by seasoned fighters as long as they aren't too heavy i.e. up to about welterweight (140 - 147lbs, 10 st to 10st 7lbs.). I'm a welterweight and have knocked this bag over despite not being a particular hard puncher so heavier athletes will certainly be too strong for this bag. We filled this bag with sand (which is advised to be the best, and heaviest, material it is designed to use) yet it does tend to shift about on the floor in use at my power level. I know boxers who would routinely be knocking this into the floor with ease. As for experienced heavyweights, don't even go there! having said this, I would think that the bag is durable enough even for heavyweights to hammer for a few months before it starts to burst at the seams. So overall, this punch bag is perfect as long as it is only used by children, women, and athletes up to around 65 kg. Note however that this is by no means a criticism since the punching power of athletes up to the heaviest weights is such that almost nothing on the market of this design would be up to the job. This is precisely why free standing design punch bags aren't used in professional gyms; any capable of withstanding heavyweight punches would have to be too heavy to move whereas a heavy bag chained to the ceiling can swing and bounce away merrily until the cows come home (as long as the beam it's affixed to doesn't break).

Arrived super fast and in good condition. Please note that even if it says that it was delivered ( in the amazon app) the seller will make the delivery for you and it might take 1 day extra extra, but that's it. The seller surely delivers on its promise. The bag is sturdy and well made. It's easy to put all the pieces together. Important note, do check if your floor can sustain the forces of the bag while punching. I did the mistake of not checking and altmost ruined my flooring. You can fill it with water, but I don't recommend it as it will cause additional forces that will make the stand swing a bit too much. Sand might be the best option - as instructed by seller. If you cheapen out like I did, and fill it witj water, you won't get the same experience.

Got this for my personal gym in my basement. Its a great addition and a lot of fun. I use this for warm up and its great for burning off excess energy. Not having to hang a punching bag on the ceiling is a great advantage to having one of these around. As an added bonus, you can always move it around to a better location with ease. The base itself is solid and has some decent weight after being filled and on top of that there are suction cups to keep it in place too just make sure you have tile or finished wood flooring. The bag is installed on top of 4 shock absorbing spring so you can put a lot of force on the bag without falling over. I punched it as hard as I could and it didn't move an inch. I also tried kicks but didn't go too crazy on it and it held up pretty well. In terms of quality of construction and material. The base is decently made out of a hard plastic and the walls are thick enough to contain sand without any leaks. I believe water works too but haven't tried that personally. The shock absorber looks well designed and the metal plate that sandwiches the springs to the base looks like something that will stand the test of time. But most importantly I think the leather needs to hold up because its where most of the wear and tear will be. I can't say how well because I've only used it for a week but I feel confident because of how well the other parts of the punching bag are made. Absolutely recommended for any athlete or anyone looking to get some excercise done while having a blast.

I have been already using this product for a while, here some tips: Decide where to put it before filling sand in the base. As it would be difficult to move after full filled. Some people said it was difficult to fill the base with sand but it’s easy for me. I cut an cola bottle then put the top of the bottle in the hole, so it’s very easy to fill the sand. Suction good at solid and wood floor but still 3 bags of sand to avoid it moving around. The bag is softer than my hanging punching bag, wouldn’t feeling hours without punching training gloves, but I still wearing normal training gloves to avoid damage my hands. I did knock it with strikes, I think it was good for beginners and intermediates.

This punching bag arrived on time as mentioned in my order. The base arrived much earlier than expected, while the bag arrived on the first day of the "arrives between" dates. If you do decide to fill the base with sand (which is almost unanimously recommended across the internet), you will definitely need to get a funnel in order to get all the sand in and minimize spills. Also, some on other sites have suggested using Playground Sand, but I find Multipurpose Sand is much easier to work with. Though it does get very dusty in the air and can get into your airways, so wearing a mask while doing that is strongly encouraged. In terms of the bag itself, it holds up very well to punches and kicks. I filled mine with 150 lbs of sand. It does wobble when struck, but not enough to be an issue. The assembly was very easy and straightforward such that I didn't really need the instructions. When striking it I do notice that when I hit it hard enough, there's a slight divot in the surrounding area where I made contact. However, this goes away if striking more than just that single area. If striking just that area for precision, the divot does not appear to get any worse. The one issue I find with this bag is in its description the words "noise reduction" and "noiseless" were used. As with the way sound works, things like this will always produce some noise. For me, I struck this with pulled-back punches in the downstairs of my house, and my parents claimed they could definitely hear it through the floor in the upstairs of the house while they were watching TV. Besides all that, this bag is of great quality. It holds up very well, easy to assemble, and is at an affordable price compared to other bags.

I bought this bag a couple years ago. After one year of use the black plastic at the base of the bag cracked and the stand became unusable. I'm not very powerful and don't weigh much so I was shocked and saddened to see that happen. I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement within a couple days with no hassle or back and forth. They were great, responsive and friendly. well, fast forward another year and it has happened again! Maybe I just got two defective ones? but all that to say that the vendor is great and responsive and even though I'm beyond the warranty they are still willing to help. Overall a good product and even better vendor! Despite the issues I've encountered I'd consider buying one of their products in future since they are so helpful and that's rare these days.

Very good, some people are complaining about wobbling in the reviews but come on it’s a free standing punching bag be realistic. Obviously if you hit it with everything you’ve got it’s gonna possibly fall over because it’s not a heavy bag. But for being a free standing punching bag in this price range I think it’s unbeatable and one of my best purchases
